Simpson Thacher & Bartlett Adds Derivatives Partner Netanya Clixby in London
"Netanya Clixby joins Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in London as a partner in its European Finance and Capital Markets group, working in Derivatives on structured products and finance-linked hedging."
Clixby advises on the structuring and negotiation of derivatives and other trading documentation, including securities lending and prime brokerage documents, and provides related regulatory advice. She also advises on structured products, including repurchase agreements and significant risk transfer transactions (SRTs). She advises clients across a range of asset classes and has experience on U.K., European and U.S.-related matters, with a particular focus on finance-linked hedging and risk management solutions for private credit and sponsor clients. Clixby joins Simpson Thacher from Sidley Austin LLP.
Her appointment is intended to augment Simpson Thacher’s Derivatives practice and broader European finance and capital markets capabilities; in close collaboration with the firm’s securitization and fund finance teams she will contribute to the development of innovative structured products aligned with clients’ long-term strategic objectives.
Clixby is consistently recognized in industry rankings, including by Legal 500 in 2025, where clients described her as well-versed in substance and technical details and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
