Giliberti Triscornia appoints Maura Magioncalda to lead finance

Magioncalda, active in banking and debt restructuring, joins Giliberti Triscornia from PedersoliGattai. She has gained experience at Italian and international law firms, advising banks, funds, investors and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions, on debt restructuring processes and on financings for companies in difficulty.
At Giliberti Triscornia, Magioncalda will work together with partners Alessandra De Cantellis, specialized in debt restructuring, and Consuelo Citterio, expert in bank financing and private debt, alongside Michele Parlangeli (Senior Counsel), Giuseppe Smerlo and Enrico Morolli (Counsel). The group will be integrated into the firm’s Finance practice and will operate in synergy with existing professionals, including partner Federico Fisher, who is active in leveraged finance and non-performing loans.
The move enables Giliberti Triscornia to develop a dedicated debt platform integrated with the areas that have historically characterized the firm—particularly private equity, litigation and restructurings—thereby strengthening its ability to advise clients across the full cycle of investment, financing and management of complex situations. Alessandro Triscornia, founding partner of Giliberti Triscornia, said the appointment is consistent with the firm’s selective growth strategy: the firm does not aim to become full service but to consolidate areas in which it seeks to be a leader, and banking and debt restructuring represent a clear axis of development.
