Elizabeth Oger-Gross, a Chambers-ranked practitioner with more than two decades of experience, joins Paul Hastings’ international arbitration practice as a partner from White & Case’s Band 1-ranked International Arbitration practice. She is recognised for advising clients on high-profile, large-scale international arbitration and litigation across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Her recent matters include advising an African State in two ICC arbitrations arising from a multibillion-dollar hydropower project; advising an African State-owned entity in an ICC arbitration concerning an investment in the water sector; and representing energy corporations in major international disputes, including matters related to long-term gas supply contracts. She acts in both English- and French-language arbitrations and also sits as an arbitrator. Her practice focuses on complex international commercial and investment disputes, with particular strength in the energy, infrastructure and construction industries.
Tolu Obamuroh joins Paul Hastings as a partner from White & Case’s Band 1-ranked International Arbitration practice. He advises at the intersection between African markets and the international legal market, with a strong record of work for global clients. His experience includes advising African States in two ICC and two ICSID arbitrations relating to a major construction project and matters in the energy and mining sectors. His practice centres on international arbitration and investment disputes, including matters involving sovereign states and corporate clients across key sectors.
