A&O Shearman adds partner Joe Brown to New York Restructuring practice
"A&O Shearman has hired partner Joe Brown in New York to its Restructuring practice. He will work on creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, bankruptcy litigation, financing transactions and Section 363 sales."
Brown brings broad experience in both creditor-side and debtor-side restructurings, including in-court and out-of-court restructurings, liability management and financing transactions, Section 363 sales, and bankruptcy litigation. He is joining A&O Shearman at partner level.
His experience spans work for creditor committees, ad hoc groups, DIP lenders, stalking-horse bidders and debtors, and he has represented major entities across financial services, technology and venture-backed companies, energy, airlines, pharmaceuticals and cryptocurrency.
