Jeff Salinger Joins Holland & Knight as Environmental Transactions Partner in New York

Mr. Salinger has spent the past 25 years focused on environmental law in connection with corporate, finance and real estate transactions. He will work within Holland & Knight’s Regulatory and Environmental practices on environmental diligence in transactions, serving as lead environmental counsel to underwriters and issuers in securities offerings and in the issuance of representations and warranties insurance (RWI) policies. He also counsels clients on environmental compliance, environmental, health and safety (EHS) matters, climate-related disclosures, contaminated property issues and emerging contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Before joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Salinger was a partner and U.S. co-chair of the industrials sector at DLA Piper. He has an investment background and a primary focus on deal work. Mr. Salinger served on the Council on the Environment of New York City for 13 years after his 2003 appointment by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and has been recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 USA as a leading environmental transactions attorney. He earned a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Michigan, and is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
