Bureau Plattner expands with lateral hires, MDA partners and life sciences academics
"Bureau Plattner adds Laura Cinicola (employment), Johannes Karner (partner), Francesco Horvat (restructurings), four MDA partners and professors Vincenzo Salvatore and Francesca Ferrari to strengthen practices in labour, restructurings, life sciences, IP/antitrust, banking, administrative, criminal and tax."
Laura Cinicola is an employment lawyer who joined from KPMG’s legal practice.
Johannes Karner was previously a partner at Bonelli Erede and earlier at Lombardi; he has joined Bureau Plattner with the rank of partner.
Francesco Horvat joined from Greenberg Traurig, bringing a profile oriented to corporate restructurings.
The integration of the four partners from MDA brought expertise in banking, administrative, criminal, tax and labour law and expanded Bureau Plattner’s territorial presence to Padua, Treviso and Venice.
Professor Vincenzo Salvatore, an expert in pharmaceutical law and life sciences, and Professor Francesca Ferrari, specialised in civil procedure with a focus on IP and antitrust, have also become part of the firm.
