Dentons strengthens Prague Corporate and M&A practice with partner Jan Stejskal

Stejskal advises private equity funds, family offices, financial institutions, founders and corporations on fundraising, joint ventures and acquisitions. Triple-qualified in England and Wales, New York and the Czech Republic, he focuses on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, with a particular emphasis on Czech- and CEE-based clients. He is recognised by international legal directories such as Chambers Global and IFLR1000 as a leading M&A and private equity lawyer. He joins Dentons from Perkins Coie in London, where he was a partner, and previously worked at White & Case in Prague.
His arrival follows the 2025 relocation of Rob Irving, Co-Head of Dentons’ Europe Corporate and M&A practice, from the firm’s Budapest office to Prague. Irving is New York-qualified, has more than three decades of experience in high-profile transactions across Central and Southeastern Europe, and works extensively with private equity funds, institutional investors and multinational corporations on complex acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
