Monereo Meyer Abogados adds two senior associates and relocates Tenerife office to Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Natalia Hernández Encinoso has joined the Santa Cruz de Tenerife office as a senior associate, reinforcing the firm’s corporate and real estate advisory practice. Hernández has practised law since 2014 and has built her career advising companies both from law firms and from international corporate environments. Her experience spans commercial, contract and real estate law, and she provides legal support on cross-border transactions. She also sits on the boards of several multinational companies, advising their management bodies on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and company management.
Nicolás Melchior Cruz has joined the Madrid office as a senior associate. With more than fifteen years of experience, Melchior specialises in real estate law, urban planning, land use, construction and procurement matters. He has advised developers, investors, property owners and construction companies on large-scale real estate transactions, urban developments and investment projects. His command of German, in addition to Spanish, English and French, enhances the firm’s capacity to advise international clients, particularly from German-speaking markets.
The firm’s Canary Islands office, co-headed by partners Stefan Meyer and Gustavo Yanes, begins this new phase from premises in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, one of the archipelago’s financial and administrative centres. The relocation follows growth in the firm’s activity in recent years and is intended to provide a closer service to companies, investors, high-net-worth individuals and private clients. Meyer said the addition of Natalia and Nicolás responds to a strategy of sustained growth, combining greater knowledge of the local market with reinforced international capacity to continue advising Spanish and foreign companies and investors developing projects in the Canary Islands and across the rest of the country. Yanes emphasised that international interest in establishing in the Canary Islands continues to grow and that sound tax advice for local businesses is essential; the firm’s tax litigation department will support entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals in safeguarding their interests before the tax authorities.
