Morgan Lewis Adds Former US Attorney’s Office Healthcare Fraud Section Chief Heidi Manschreck in Chicago

Manschreck spent nearly two decades in government service, most recently serving as chief of the Healthcare Fraud Section in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. A seasoned trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor, she also served in that office as criminal healthcare fraud coordinator, deputy chief of financial crimes, and assistant U.S. attorney, where she investigated and prosecuted fraud matters involving healthcare providers, medical equipment companies, and other businesses. Prior to her service in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she was a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
She joins Morgan Lewis as a partner in Chicago and will bolster the firm’s capabilities in healthcare-related investigations and enforcement matters, white collar litigation, and high-stakes disputes. Her prior senior role was chief of the Healthcare Fraud Section at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.
