Friedland advises insurers, buyers and sellers on transactional risk insurance solutions, with a focus on representations and warranties policies. He works with clients on policy terms and helps manage risk issues as transactions move toward closing. Drawing on prior experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance matters, Friedland brings a practical understanding of the legal and commercial issues that drive deals and the ability to identify transaction risk throughout the underwriting process. He joins Akerman as a partner and is based in Miami.
