Mayan Katz Joins Sidley as Partner in Emerging Companies, Venture Capital and Global Life Sciences in New York

Mr. Katz joins from Goodwin Procter LLP, where he was a Corporate partner in the Life Sciences group and a leader in the firm’s Israel practice. He focuses on domestic and cross‑border M&A, strategic transactions, venture capital financings and other corporate matters for companies and investors across the life sciences sector, including the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology and digital health industries. He advises clients throughout the corporate lifecycle, representing both buyers and sellers on a wide range of mergers and acquisitions, including structured transactions, divestitures, spin‑outs and joint ventures. He also counsels on startup and formation matters, venture capital financings, general corporate matters and other strategic and complex transactions, and has significant experience advising Israeli and Israeli‑founded companies and investors on U.S. and cross‑border transactions.
