Meredith Pohl Joins King & Spalding in Washington, D.C.

Pohl’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal court and on congressional, governmental and regulatory investigations. Her work spans pharmaceutical, antitrust, energy and congressional investigations matters. She joins King & Spalding as a partner in the Business Litigation practice group.
Pohl joins King & Spalding from Kirkland & Ellis, where she was a partner. Prior to entering private practice she served in various roles in the U.S. Senate, including as Deputy General Counsel to Senator Rob Portman and as Counsel for the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. She also clerked for judges on the United States Courts of Appeals for the Tenth and Fifth Circuits and earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her B.A. from Purdue University.
