Armstrong Teasdale Adds IP Counsel Scott A. Williams in St. Louis

Williams brings an extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry and will work with emerging and mature businesses on the development and application of chemical and life sciences technologies. He joins Armstrong Teasdale as Counsel.
He has deep experience developing and managing global patent portfolios, including the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications. Williams counsels clients on strategic patent portfolio development, product life cycle planning, Hatch‑Waxman patent strategies and product licensing, and provides patent portfolio evaluations and due diligence assessments for licensing and other transactional matters.
Within the pharmaceutical field, Williams has supported preclinical research, clinical candidate development and product commercialization activities for small molecules and biologics. He previously served as in-house patent counsel and supported pharmaceutical products including CALQUENCE®, BRILINTA® and WAINUA®.
