Karlyn joins from Morrison Foerster and brings more than 29 years of experience advising healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device and technology companies—from Fortune 100 organizations to emerging growth companies and start-ups—on a wide range of commercial life sciences, licensing and technology transactions. Deeply embedded in Boston’s life sciences hub, he has built long-standing relationships across the sector and advises clients at every stage of the product lifecycle.
His practice focuses on IP commercialization, complex collaboration transactions, licensing initiatives, subscription-based economics, and commercial transactions related to the procurement, development, commercialization and use of life sciences products. He has also advised on corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity and venture capital financing.
