Michele Odello joins BIP Law & Tax to lead Regulatory and Fund Formation

Michele Odello joins BIP Law & Tax as partner and will be responsible for the Regulatory & Fund Formation team, with the objective of creating a structure ready to handle complex assignments for banking, financial and insurance clients. Odello brings a twenty-year professional career that includes roles in several Italian and international law firms and most recently served at EY as FSO Law Leader for Italy. He is specialised in law for banking, financial and insurance markets and advises clients on regulatory compliance, authorisations for the acquisition of regulated entities, the establishment of regulated vehicles and the management of inspection and sanction proceedings with competent authorities. He also has experience in the establishment and management of collective investment vehicles, assisting management companies and promoters in vehicle selection and in negotiating related agreements and regulations, and holds specific expertise in FinTech, anti-money laundering (AML), ESG and market abuse.
Maria Cristina Lobascio joins BIP Law & Tax as Manager and accompanies Odello in the move to the firm.
