Skadden Adds Mass Torts Litigator Brian O’Donoghue in Chicago

Mr. O’Donoghue has led some of the largest multidistrict litigation matters both domestically and globally for pharmaceutical, industrial and life science companies. He advises clients on high-profile product liability, environmental, consumer and complex commercial disputes and has extensive experience in mass torts, class actions, internal investigations and litigation involving multinational corporate clients. Beyond mass torts and class actions, he has a strong track record of leading significant commercial disputes and of using key experts to develop factual and scientific evidence in preparation for trial. He represents corporate clients across industries including technology, transportation, energy and entertainment. He joins Skadden as a partner in the firm’s Mass Torts, Insurance and Consumer Litigation Group in Chicago.
Mr. O’Donoghue earned his J.D. from Yale Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He has been selected for inclusion in Chambers USA in its Litigation: Product Liability and Product Liability & Mass Torts categories.
