Orrick Adds Lisa Lanham and Five-Lawyer Team to Financial Services and Fintech Advisory Practice
"Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe hires Lisa Lanham as partner and Head of Fintech Licensing in Miami, joining with a five-lawyer team to its Financial Services & Fintech Advisory regulatory practice."
Lanham, who is nationally recognized by Legal 500, advises consumer and commercial financial institutions on federal and state regulatory compliance and strategy. Her practice encompasses state licensing strategy and regulatory change management, enforcement readiness and supervisory/examination strategy, and payments-related regulatory counseling. She also assists clients with financings and M&A transactions to support scaling and market expansion. Lanham will serve as Orrick’s Head of Fintech Licensing and is entering the firm as a partner; she joins from Greenberg Traurig, where she was a shareholder.
One counsel in Washington, D.C. and four associates in Miami are expected to join Lanham and become members of Orrick as part of the team.
