Cadwalader Adds Partner Nika Silva to Strengthen Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice

Silva is a leading structured finance lawyer with more than 20 years of legal experience, focusing primarily on data center and digital infrastructure transactions. She joins Cadwalader as a partner and will initially be resident in the firm’s New York office; upon completion of the merger to create Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in July 2026 she will be based in Los Angeles and serve as the combined firm’s U.S. Head of Digital Infrastructure Finance. Silva has extensive experience representing issuers, financial institutions, underwriters and institutional investors in U.S.-based asset-backed securitizations and structured lending transactions, including 144A and Section 4(a)(2) issuance platforms and structured private credit. She serves as issuer’s and borrower’s counsel for data center and fintech clients and has practised in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Los Angeles, New York, London and Australia. Silva has been recognised by the Legal 500 for her work.
