Erica Schohn has joined Latham & Watkins LLP’s New York office as a partner in the firm’s Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice.

Schohn is a nationally recognized practitioner advising boards, compensation committees, senior executives, and deal teams on executive compensation matters in connection with complex corporate transactions. She has broad experience advising on executive compensation aspects of public company M&A, IPOs, capital markets transactions, and private equity matters, as well as on ongoing advisory matters relating to governance, disclosure, and executive arrangements. She brings particular depth advising on executive retention and transition arrangements, incentive design in sponsor-backed and strategic transactions, and the integration of compensation considerations into broader deal execution. Schohn is co-editor of the Section 409A Handbook.

Schohn joins Latham from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and will serve as a partner in Latham’s Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice in New York. She received her JD, magna cum laude, from Duke University School of Law and her BA from Pennsylvania State University.
