Oppenhoff strengthens Munich Venture Capital, Private Equity and M&A practice with team from POELLATH

Christian Tönies joins Oppenhoff as a partner from the law firm POELLATH. He was previously part of POELLATH’s Venture Capital practice and advises venture capital funds, corporate venture capital investors, start-ups, as well as institutional and strategic investors across the full spectrum of venture capital, private equity and M&A matters, including financing rounds, acquisitions and exits. He will play a leading role in the continued build-up of Oppenhoff’s Munich office.
Markus Döllner joins Oppenhoff as a partner from POELLATH. He advises companies and investors on venture capital and private equity transactions and on corporate law matters, with particular experience in financing rounds, corporate investments and complex M&A transactions.
Severin Scholz and Oliver Ferstl are joining from POELLATH as Senior Associate and Associate respectively. Both advise on venture capital, private equity and M&A transactions and will strengthen Oppenhoff’s practice and its Munich office.
Oppenhoff said the arrival of Tönies, Döllner and their team represents an important milestone in the expansion of its Munich office, further strengthening the firm’s Transactions focus group and enhancing its transaction advisory capabilities for domestic and international clients.
