FPS strengthens its largest practice group with partner hire Jochen Heilig at Frankfurt office

Heilig has been admitted as a lawyer since 2004 and has held the title of specialist lawyer for construction and architects law since 2010. He has worked at SMNG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH since 2012 and most recently served there as partner and shareholder.
Heilig advises clients on the development and realization of complex construction and real estate projects, providing services from baubegleitende legal advice to procedural representation in construction, architects and engineering law disputes. At FPS he will in particular take responsibility for handling construction-law disputes and will work closely with Stephan Jüngst, Managing Partner of FPS.
His work focuses on drafting and negotiating contracts and on developing and implementing strategies to prevent and resolve project-related conflicts. A particular emphasis of his practice is defects and claim management, where he supports clients in structured analysis as well as in enforcing and defending claims. In court proceedings he represents clients with comprehensive litigation experience and develops targeted strategies for efficient enforcement of their rights.
