Eskariam adds Covadonga Garralda and María Varela to its litigation team

Covadonga Garralda joins Eskariam from Cuatrecasas. Her practice focuses on complex litigation with an emphasis on antitrust private enforcement. She has a background in competition law and antitrust private enforcement, and has participated in major litigation and damages proceedings before Spanish and European courts and regulatory bodies. Garralda also holds teaching positions at Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE and the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
María Varela joins Eskariam as counsel, having built a background in competition law and EU law at specialised firms including Mlab Abogados and, previously, Roca Junyent. Her practice covers both national and international matters, including proceedings before the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia, other regional competition authorities, the European Commission, the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. She has participated in major litigation and damages proceedings before Spanish and European courts and regulatory bodies.
