King & Spalding Adds Fund Finance Leader Ron Franklin to New York Office

Ron Franklin joins King & Spalding from Proskauer Rose LLP, where he served as Co‑Head of the Corporate & Fund Finance Group and led the global fund finance practice. He brings more than three decades of experience advising financial institutions, private equity sponsors, private credit funds and corporations across a broad range of financing transactions. Franklin’s fund finance work encompasses NAV facilities, asset‑based lending, GP financings and other complex financing solutions. He joins King & Spalding as a partner and will serve as a leader of the firm’s global fund finance practice; at Proskauer he held the senior role of Co‑Head of the Corporate & Fund Finance Group.
Andy Bettwy and Jin Joo joined King & Spalding earlier this month as partners and previously practiced with Franklin. The announcement notes their arrival alongside Franklin as part of the firm’s expansion of its fund finance capabilities.
