Cadwalader Strengthens Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice with Partner Nika Silva

Silva is a leading structured finance lawyer who focuses primarily on data center and infrastructure transactions. She will initially be resident in Cadwalader’s New York office and, upon completion of the merger creating Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in July 2026, will be based in Los Angeles and serve as the combined firm’s U.S. Head of Digital Infrastructure Finance.
Silva brings more than 20 years of legal experience, with extensive work representing issuers, financial institutions, underwriters and institutional investors in a variety of sophisticated U.S.-based asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions, including 144A and Section 4(a)(2) issuance platforms and structured private credit. She serves as issuer’s and borrower’s counsel for data center and fintech clients in asset-backed securitizations and other financing transactions. Silva has practiced in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Los Angeles, New York, London and Australia and has been recognized by the Legal 500 for her work.
