Greenberg Traurig Adds Andrew Gray to Orange County Litigation Practice

Andrew Gray has joined global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as a shareholder in the firm’s Orange County office.

Gray is a leading securities and commercial litigator who joins Greenberg Traurig from Latham & Watkins LLP. He represents companies, financial institutions, boards of directors, and individuals in high‑stakes commercial litigation, with a focus on securities class actions, merger and acquisition (M&A) disputes, and partnership or corporate control contests. He has deep experience litigating claims under the federal securities laws and in M&A dispute resolution across industries including technology, health care, software, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, and real estate. Gray has appeared in federal and state courts across multiple jurisdictions, including the Delaware Court of Chancery; he has tried cases to jury verdict and achieved numerous motions to dismiss, dismissals at summary judgment, and resolutions involving billions of dollars in transaction value.

A past president of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Gray has served on the boards of the Orange County Federal Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers’ Orange County Chapter, the Public Law Center, and Community Legal Aid SoCal. He is active in pro bono work and serves on the board of directors for Human Options, a nonprofit supporting victims of domestic abuse. Gray was named to the Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list in 2018 and was part of a team that won the Daily Journal’s California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year Award in 2020.
