Addleshaw Goddard appoints Neil Westwood as Legal Director to strengthen international data protection capability

Neil joins AG from Simmons & Simmons, where he served as Of Counsel in the firm’s Digital Business Group. He enters Addleshaw Goddard as Legal Director. His practice covers privacy governance programmes, large-scale technology procurements, innovative services launches, cyber incident response and cross-border data compliance. Neil has extensive experience advising banks, payments businesses and other financial services institutions, asset managers, telecoms operators and global pharmaceutical companies on data, privacy, cybersecurity and digital regulatory matters.
At Addleshaw Goddard Neil will help lead the London-based Data Law team, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, AI governance and digital regulation.
