Broadfield Adds Ty C. Akkoyun as M&A Partner and Chair of Innovation
"Broadfield hires Ty C. Akkoyun as a partner in its New York corporate (M&A) practice and Chair of the Innovation Committee; he will work on M&A, restructurings and cross-border transactions and lead AI and automation initiatives."
At White & Case, Akkoyun was a member of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice and served as an official innovation champion for AI and automation. He advises private equity sponsors, corporations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and other investors on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, business combinations, growth equity investments, corporate governance and related strategic matters. His transactional practice spans a range of industries with particular focus on energy, infrastructure, healthcare and life sciences, technology and diversified industrials.
At Broadfield, Akkoyun will serve as a partner in the New York corporate practice and will chair the firm’s Innovation Committee, leading the application of artificial intelligence, automation and process design across legal workflows.
Akkoyun is admitted to the New York bar and holds law degrees from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Galatasaray University. He speaks English, French and Turkish.
