Lila Hope and Jennifer Raab have joined Sidley’s Palo Alto office as partners in the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences Transactions practice.

Dr. Lila Hope brings a market-leading transactional practice focused on life sciences companies discovering, developing, and marketing pharmaceuticals in all modalities, as well as medical devices and diagnostic and digital health products. Her work addresses complex intellectual property, business, operational, and legal issues, including strategic partnerships, platform discovery, and option deals, and she assists management, operational, and legal teams with day-to-day matters such as licensing, supply, distribution, clinical trials, research collaborations, and vendor services. Dr. Hope joins Sidley from Cooley LLP and enters the firm as a partner.

Jennifer Raab brings a market-leading transactional practice serving life sciences companies involved in the discovery, development, and commercialization of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostic and digital health products. Her practice similarly covers complex intellectual property, business, operational, and legal issues—such as strategic partnerships, platform discovery, and option deals—and supports teams on licensing, supply, distribution, clinical trials, research collaborations, and vendor services. Ms. Raab joins Sidley from Cooley LLP and enters the firm as a partner.
