Simões Ribeiro Advogados adds two partners and launches Public Law and Infrastructure practice
"Simões Ribeiro Advogados has appointed partners Fernando Medici Jr. to its Arbitration and Strategic Litigation team and Ane Elisa Perez to head a new Public Law and Infrastructure practice."
Fernando Medici Jr. joins as a partner to integrate and strengthen the firm’s Arbitration and Strategic Litigation practice. He has more than 23 years of experience handling domestic and international disputes in corporate matters, commercial contracts, construction and infrastructure, energy, telecommunications and debt recovery. Over his career he has participated in more than one hundred court proceedings and arbitrations, including matters that have contributed to the development of arbitration in Brazil. He holds an LL.M. in Contract Law from Insper.
Ane Elisa Perez joins as a partner to head the newly created Public Law and Infrastructure practice. She has over 30 years of experience in public procurement, concessions, public-private partnerships, infrastructure, arbitration and dispute resolution, with a track record in advisory work and the management of complex disputes in regulated sectors. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Administrative Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC‑SP), holds a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the same institution, and serves as a professor in Brazil and abroad.
The appointments form part of Simões Ribeiro Advogados’ institutional expansion aimed at deepening its capabilities in arbitration, complex litigation and regulated sectors and strengthening its national and international presence.
