Katharina Weiner and Stefanie Zenzen will join BLOMSTEIN's Düsseldorf office in the third quarter of 2026 from an international law firm, joining the firm as partner and associate respectively.

Katharina Weiner is widely recognized as one of Germany’s leading public procurement specialists. Over the course of her career she has built a distinguished reputation at the intersection of regulatory law and strategic industrial projects. She is particularly well known for her work in the healthcare sector and has more recently established herself as a trusted advisor on defence-related matters. Her practice focuses on complex procurement, regulatory and state aid issues, as well as large-scale investment and transformation projects, including in the semiconductor and critical infrastructure sectors. She will join BLOMSTEIN as a partner from an international law firm.

Stefanie Zenzen brings extensive experience advising leading national and international companies as well as public sector clients on complex procurement, regulatory and strategic infrastructure matters. She will join BLOMSTEIN as an associate from an international law firm.

Their arrival further strengthens BLOMSTEIN’s market-leading capabilities in the healthcare and defence sectors and enhances the firm’s expertise in highly regulated industries. The move also marks another milestone in the growth of BLOMSTEIN’s Düsseldorf office, which Christopher Wolters opened in April 2026.
