Sidley Austin Expands Global Finance Practice with Addition of Sumita Ahuja in New York
"Sidley Austin has hired Sumita Ahuja as a partner in its Global Finance practice in New York. She will work on syndicated and direct lending, secured and mezzanine financings, acquisition and bridge financings and cross-border transactions."
Ms. Ahuja’s practice focuses on representing lead banks, financial institutions, agents, and borrowers across a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. She has extensive experience advising on syndicated and direct lending transactions, secured and mezzanine financings, acquisition and bridge financings, refinancing facilities, and other bespoke capital solutions, and offers strong technical experience on sophisticated cross-border matters. She joins Sidley Austin from Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz LLP in New York.
