BCLP Adds Partner Susan Carney Lynch to Strengthen Healthcare Litigation Team
"BCLP hires Susan Carney Lynch as partner in its Litigation and Investigations Department to bolster healthcare litigation, including False Claims Act, regulatory compliance and white-collar matters."
Lynch joins BCLP from the U.S. Department of Justice, where she spent more than 27 years and served as senior trial counsel leading False Claims Act (FCA) matters involving the healthcare sector. At the DOJ she led the agency’s National Nursing Home Initiative launched in 2020 and handled complex FCA matters nationwide across the full case lifecycle from investigations through settlement and trial. Her experience spans a broad range of healthcare providers, including national and regional hospital systems, academic medical centers, skilled nursing facilities, home healthcare and hospice care.
At BCLP she will focus on healthcare litigation, False Claims Act litigation, regulatory compliance and white-collar matters, joining the firm at partner level. Lynch holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and serves as a volunteer paramedic.
BCLP said Lynch’s government-side experience will complement its ongoing strategy to expand healthcare litigation capabilities through targeted lateral hires; in 2025 the firm also welcomed Justin Kingsolver to its healthcare and antitrust practice. Lynch is the fourth lateral partner to join BCLP in the U.S. this year.
