John B. McDonald Joins Fox Rothschild as Counsel in Seattle Litigation Department
"Fox Rothschild appoints John B. McDonald as counsel in its Seattle Litigation Department to handle complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters, including bad faith and Insurance Fair Conduct Act cases."
McDonald will practice in complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage, representing businesses and insurers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond, including matters involving bad faith and the Insurance Fair Conduct Act.
His experience includes counseling primary and excess insurers on complex, high-value coverage disputes involving environmental claims, opioids, PFAS, sexual abuse and other risks, and advising London Market Underwriters regarding large-category losses. He has represented international investors in fraud-related collection actions, served as lead coverage counsel for international and cannabis industry clients, and handles matters from inception through trial and arbitration.
McDonald earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, and serves as a mentor for University of Miami School of Law students.
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, McDonald was counsel at Selman Leichenger Edson Hsu Newman & Moore.
