Skadden Adds Sarah Ridel as Partner in Energy and Infrastructure Projects Group in Houston

Ms. Ridel most recently served as assistant vice president and assistant general counsel at Pattern Energy Group. She has more than a decade of experience advising on complex development and finance matters, including build-transfer transactions, power purchase agreements, construction financings, back-leverage financings, tax equity bridge loans and private placements. She has extensive transmission experience and played a leading role in Pattern Energy’s $11 billion financing of the 550-mile SunZia Transmission Line from central New Mexico to south central Arizona and related generation projects. Her practice is focused on energy development, project finance and transmission, including work involving solar, wind and energy storage. She joins Skadden as a partner, having come from Pattern Energy Group where she served as assistant vice president and assistant general counsel.
