McDermott Will & Schulte hires Michael Tregle as Counsel in Government Contracts Group

Tregle joins McDermott’s Washington, DC office and the broader Regulatory Practice Group, where he will support clients at the intersection of procurement, intellectual property, and government investigations. He enters the firm with the seniority of Counsel and will strengthen McDermott’s bid protest and complex disputes litigation capabilities, including classified litigation and other sensitive matters.
Tregle brings senior leadership and legal advisory experience spanning government procurement, national security, international and operational law, ethics, and fiscal law. He has overseen legal teams at large multinational organizations, including the U.S. Army, and has led complex litigation matters, handling approximately 30 high-value cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars in claims.
He joins McDermott from the U.S. Army Contract Litigation & Intellectual Property Division, where he was known to the firm as an adversary on several matters.
