Martínez-Echevarría appoints Manuel Mingot as partner in Banking and Finance

Mingot brings close to 25–30 years of experience advising on corporate financing, debt restructuring and both domestic and international real estate finance. His client base has included banks, financial institutions and debt funds, with a particular focus on alternative financing through private debt. He joins Martínez-Echevarría from Ontier, where he most recently held a senior role in the banking and finance area. Previously, he served as head of the Banking and Finance practice at the Madrid office of Squire Patton Boggs and as a partner in the banking practice at Cuatrecasas.
Mingot holds a law degree and a doctorate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, has served as an associate professor of Commercial Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and regularly contributes to legal journals, collective works and yearbooks. His arrival complements an existing partner team that includes Carlos Gutiérrez Garzón, a specialist in financing transactions.
