McDermott Will & Schulte boosts Nordic M&A strength with senior London hire
"McDermott Will & Schulte has appointed Lisa Göransson as a senior consultant in London to strengthen its cross-border M&A practice with a focus on the Nordic markets."
Göransson brings nearly 30 years of experience advising on complex corporate finance and M&A transactions, with a strong focus on the Nordic markets and international cross-border matters. She joins McDermott from A&O Shearman, where she served as a corporate partner and led the firm’s Nordic Desk. Dual qualified in England and Sweden, Göransson has practised corporate law in both London and Stockholm and has advised corporates, private equity firms and financial institutions on complex cross-border M&A and joint ventures across the Nordic region and globally. Her background also includes General Counsel roles, including at a Swedish NASDAQ-listed multinational company, and service as an acting judge with the Stockholm Court of Appeals.
