Pérez-Llorca adds Javier Blanco as tax partner in Barcelona
"Pérez-Llorca has appointed Javier Blanco as a partner in its Barcelona tax practice, strengthening its Private Client team to advise on wealth planning, real estate investments and corporate restructurings."
Blanco brings experience in tax advisory for large estates, family businesses, and national and international corporate groups, as well as private banking clients. His areas of specialisation include wealth planning and structuring, real estate investments, and corporate restructurings. He joins Pérez-Llorca from BDO Abogados and enters the firm with the seniority of partner. Blanco also serves as an associate professor on the Law degree programme at the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña.
Pérez-Llorca stated the hire is intended to deepen its Private Client practice from the Barcelona office, expanding the firm's capacity to provide comprehensive advice on complex tax matters to both domestic and international clients. Tax partner Norma Peña i Bagés noted that Blanco’s market knowledge will add significant value to clients and to the firm’s growth in Barcelona.
