Paul, Weiss Welcomes Michael Darby as M&A Partner

Darby advises corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities laws and Delaware law matters. His practice focuses on M&A and a range of other significant corporate matters, including activism defense and Delaware law. He has represented clients across the life sciences, industrials, financial services, consumer and retail, technology and energy industries. Recent representations include advising Select Medical in its take-private transaction; the special committee of Enfusion’s board in its acquisition by Clearwater Analytics; Energy Harbor in its acquisition by Vistra; Chiesi Farmaceutici in its acquisition of Amryt Pharma; and Quest Diagnostics in transactions including its acquisition of select assets from Fresenius Medical Care and the sale of its ownership interest in Q2 Solutions to IQVIA.
Darby joins the firm as a partner. He earned a B.S. in engineering from the University of Delaware and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
