Trent Bridges to Join Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as Energy and Infrastructure M&A Partner in Houston

Bridges advises public and private companies in energy-related transactions and on infrastructure development projects and investments, with a particular focus on the midstream oil and gas sector. He will join the firm as a partner in the M&A Group.
Bridges has represented clients on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, greenfield projects and commercial agreements across the oil and gas sector. He has also advised on power facility development projects to support data center operations, energy transition projects including renewable fuels, and crude oil and natural gas pipeline projects. His recent representations include work for Energy Transfer LP, Devon Energy Corporation and Enbridge Inc., among others.
Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Bridges served as vice president and assistant general counsel for Magellan Midstream Partners, where he worked with the board of directors and management on midstream M&A, joint ventures and projects. He was recognized by Legal 500 for US, Energy Transactions: Oil & Gas in 2025 and holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D., with highest honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
