Katz joins Fox Rothschild as a Partner. He devotes his practice to guiding clients through company formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions and has developed a focus representing sellers and buyers in the facilities services and construction industries. Drawing on more than three decades of experience in corporate law based in New Jersey and New York, Katz guides buyers and sellers through every phase of M&A deals, from initial structuring and due diligence through negotiation and closing, and counsels companies on joint ventures, strategic investments, and domestic and international business combinations. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Fox, Katz was a partner at Connell Foley.
Weiner joins Fox Rothschild as Counsel. She is a corporate and commercial real estate lawyer who concentrates her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and complex financing arrangements, and has more than 15 years of experience counseling businesses on deal structuring, due diligence and transaction management. On the corporate side she handles entity formation and governance matters for LLCs, partnerships and corporations and drafts and negotiates shareholder agreements, operating agreements and a wide range of commercial contracts. Her commercial real estate practice encompasses acquisition and disposition transactions, mortgage and mezzanine financing, construction lending and leasehold financing throughout New Jersey and New York. She earned her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her B.A. from Tufts University. Prior to joining Fox, Weiner was counsel at Connell Foley.
