Vinson & Elkins Hires Peter C. Bergan, Jr. as Real Estate Partner
"Vinson & Elkins has hired Peter C. Bergan, Jr. as a New York-based partner in its Real Estate practice; he will work on data center and large-scale infrastructure transactions across the full deal lifecycle."
Bergan advises investors, developers, and owners on complex real estate transactions, with particular emphasis on data center developments and other large-scale infrastructure projects. He focuses on data center assets and represents clients across the full lifecycle of transactions, including construction, M&A, leasing, customer arrangements, and other commercial contracts. He has also advised on complex, multibillion-dollar strategic partnerships, cross-border acquisitions, and financings spanning industrial, mining, retail, hospitality, and multifamily and single-family assets nationwide.
Bergan joins Vinson & Elkins as a partner and will contribute to the firm’s fast-growing Data Center practice, which supports transactions such as joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, equity investments, debt financings, EPC contracts, master lease and service agreements, and build-to-suit arrangements.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
