Auren strengthens global mobility practice with hire of Aida Aparicio
"Auren hires Aida Aparicio as manager of its immigration department within the global mobility practice; she brings over 20 years' experience in international mobility and corporate immigration."
Aparicio brings more than 20 years of experience in international mobility and corporate immigration. At Auren she will lead the immigration department within the global mobility practice.
Auren's global mobility practice provides integrated solutions for short- and long-term assignments, cross-border employment, business travellers, project-based mobility, and remote or hybrid working models across multiple jurisdictions. The service is coordinated between a legal division, which covers corporate immigration, employment law, tax and transfer pricing, and a people consulting division, which contributes expertise in compensation and benefits policies, incentive plans and cross-border remote working arrangements.
Carlos Barreda, partner and head of global mobility, said the value of the service lies in coordinating multidisciplinary teams that support both the company and the employee, mitigating risks and providing operational and legal clarity across jurisdictions. Mario Rodríguez Lancho, partner at Auren Personas, emphasised that international mobility encompasses the employee experience and the company’s broader talent strategy. Alberto Gilarranz, partner in the employment practice at Auren Legal, highlighted the importance of a sound employment law approach to ensure legal certainty and regulatory compliance in each country. Mario Alonso, president of Auren, described the reinforcement as completing the firm’s global mobility offering by combining legal, tax, employment and people advisory services to support companies and employees at every stage of their international projects.
