Paul Hastings Adds Energy Regulatory Partner Tyler Brown in Atlanta
"Paul Hastings welcomes partner Tyler Brown to its Atlanta office to join the Energy & Infrastructure practice, focusing on energy regulatory matters."
Brown regularly advises clients on regulatory aspects of project development, contracts, tariffs, rates and compliance matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, other energy regulators and state public utility commissions. He represents companies across the pipeline and energy transmission sectors, including utilities, LNG project developers, energy marketers and financial institutions. He counsels on all aspects of pipeline construction—from regulatory approval and commercial agreements to pipeline safety issues—and negotiates transportation, processing, storage and sale agreements. Brown also has extensive experience related to the development of hydrogen as a zero-emission, energy-dense alternative.
Brown joins Paul Hastings from King & Spalding. He has spent his career representing clients in commercial and regulatory matters in the energy industry and previously held senior in-house counsel positions for a number of companies in the oil and gas and pipeline sectors prior to his tenure at King & Spalding.
