Fox Rothschild Adds Veteran Trial Attorney Joe Meadows to Washington, DC Litigation Team

A veteran trial attorney with more than two decades of experience, Meadows represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes, defamation, and First Amendment matters in federal and state courts nationwide. He advises on cyber-reputation issues to protect brands, reputations, and property from online attacks and damaging statements, and handles trademark and patent infringement cases in federal court as well as registration disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Meadows has tried cases before judges and juries, argued trial and appellate matters, and arbitrated commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions. He counsels clients on strategic deployment of intellectual property and provides guidance to clients in the cybersecurity, e-commerce, and communications sectors on litigation and regulatory risk, including digital forensics, ransomware response, and crisis communications. He is the current author of The Law of Defamation in Virginia (Fifth Edition) and holds a J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.S. from Wake Forest University.
Meadows joins Fox Rothschild as a partner after serving as a partner with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani in Alexandria, Virginia.
