Alston & Bird Adds Tax Partner Satvi Vepa in London

Vepa advises clients on the tax aspects of a range of domestic and cross‑border transactions, with particular emphasis on financing transactions, including structured finance and securitisations. She is recognised for delivering practical, commercial advice tailored to clients’ business objectives.
She also has extensive experience steering companies through intricate corporate reorganisations and advises on global tax considerations for mergers and acquisitions, including transactions involving private equity sponsors and clients in the technology and life sciences sectors.
Vepa joins Alston & Bird as a partner and is the firm’s first tax partner in London, a move that expands the firm’s advisory capabilities on global tax issues and strengthens its U.S. and UK transactional practices. Her arrival follows recent additions to the London team that further develop the firm’s corporate, finance, tax and transactional capabilities.
