Knights appoints Matthew Whipp as Partner to strengthen Beaconsfield Dispute Resolution

Matthew qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2017 and has built his career across both City and regional law firms. Originally qualifying into corporate law, he moved into litigation shortly after qualification. He enters Knights with the seniority of Partner.
An experienced litigation and dispute resolution solicitor, Matthew has a strong focus on private wealth disputes, including contentious trust and probate matters. He regularly advises on sensitive and high-value disputes, including matters with cross-border elements, and has acted for a wide range of clients from PLCs and SMEs to private individuals. He is a specialist in Inheritance Act 1975 claims, trust and estate administration disputes, proprietary estoppel claims and alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and early neutral evaluations.
His appointment further strengthens Knights’ growing Dispute Resolution capability and supports the firm’s continued investment in specialist expertise to meet increasing client demand across the private wealth sector.
