LPA Tokyo appoints Yoshiki Tsurumaki as Partner to lead Japanese law practice

Yoshiki Tsurumaki has joined LPA Tokyo as a Partner in its Corporate and M&A practice and will lead the firm’s Japanese law practice in Tokyo.

Yoshiki brings more than 23 years of experience in Japanese and international law. He specialises in corporate and business law, with a practice covering M&A (domestic and cross-border), finance, capital markets, corporate venture capital investment, ESG investment, data centre, real estate, general corporate matters and dispute resolution. He joins LPA Tokyo at partner level from King & Wood, where he was a partner and played a leading role in the Japanese law practice of the Tokyo office.

Earlier in his career, Yoshiki began as a lawyer at Atsumi & Sakai after significant in-house experience at NTT Data Corporation and a secondment to Mitsubishi Securities (now Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities). He also practised in New York at Dewey & LeBoeuf following completion of an LL.M. at Vanderbilt University Law School and is a graduate of Waseda University. Within LPA Tokyo he will lead the Japanese law practice and contribute to strengthening synergies with LPA Law’s offices across Europe and Asia.
