Mariana Kapor Drumond brings more than 15 years of experience advising domestic and international companies, executives, and individuals in investigations and disputes involving corporate fraud, environmental crimes, tax crimes, financial offenses, capital markets matters, public administration investigations, cybercrime, and cases arising from workplace accidents. Her work covers both advisory and contentious matters in legally and reputationally sensitive cases.
She has developed a track record in corporate crisis management and in designing preventive strategies to mitigate criminal risks. Kapor Drumond is also involved in the implementation and review of compliance, governance, and personal data protection programs, with a focus on situations where regulatory failures may trigger corporate and executive liability. Her practice includes advising and representing clients before Parliamentary Commissions of Inquiry (CPIs) at Brazil’s National Congress and in sanctioning administrative proceedings before regulatory bodies such as the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), state comptroller agencies (CGEs), the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL), the National Mining Agency (ANM), and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), with particular emphasis on matters related to Brazil’s Anti-Corruption Law.
