MiRi brings extensive experience spanning private practice and state and federal government service, including at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the California Department of Justice. A first‑chair trial lawyer, she advises and defends employers in a wide range of workplace matters, counseling on motion practice and discovery, claims under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, wage‑and‑hour exposure, and employee mobility disputes on behalf of multinational companies. Her courtroom experience and focus on guiding clients through disputes involving heightened legal, reputational and business risk strengthen McDermott’s employment litigation bench.
